Speaking of Canadian cars

A guy in my car club was telling us of going to a drag race, at Pheonix Intl I think, and it had a division for imports.... so who cares right? This night, the tuners were taught a lesson.

No one realizes the the Grand National is also an import, nearly incredible performance from a turbo 6 cylinder. 3.8L V6 Turbo 200 bhp @ 4000 rpm, 300 ft-lb @ 2400 rpm.

Love them too. Yup, import.

Canadian from the plant in Windsor I believe.

So the GN won of course, and how are those Hondas going to compete with that? Love that story.

A good website devoted to the Canadian divisions of Mopar : http://www.allpar.com/world/canada.html I get a kick from the strange names. Caravelle, Medallion, Mayfair, Kingsway, Crusader, Viscount, Fargo and Cricket.
